ACT Prep Class and Kindergartners Enjoy the Read-a-Thon Together

On Thursday, December 10th, the High School ACT Prep class traveled to the new elementary to participate in the Read-A-Thon sponsored by the elementary library. The high school students read with kindergartners in Mrs. Lumb's class. Each high school student had one or two little ones to read with. The kindergartners chose several books to have read to them. Some even read to their big partners!! The juniors and senior students are avid readers, so it was a real treat to share their love of books with the younger students. Students participating were Dustin Cates, Autumn Kallsen, Brandon McNutt, Cody Taylor, Seth Harper, Zach Eaton, Tyler Hinshaw, Justin Jack, Kurt Gulick, Nicole Adams, Luke Nunez, Kaitlin Johnson, Samantha Whittaker, and Betsy Epps.
